Members of the public can discuss crime and policing in Hinckley

Leicestershire Police and Crime Commissioner Lord Willy Bach will be available to listen to the public’s opinions on crime and policing at a special roadshow in Hinckley.

The Police and Crime Commissioner will be joined by Chief Constable Simon Cole outside the Wilko store in the Britannia Shopping Centre, Hinckley for the “What Matters To You?” Event on Tuesday 21st November 2017 between 9.30am and 11.30am.

Police volunteers and members of the local Neighbourhood Policing Team will also be on hand alongside Inspector Dan Eveleigh, Commander of the Hinckley and Blaby Neighbourhood Policing Area (NPA) to answer questions from the public about local problems and let them know about community safety.

“Events such as these, where the Chief Constable and I can get out and listen to the views of the public on crime and policing and how we can improve our service, are invaluable.  It gives us the opportunity to meet the people responsible for keeping Hinckley safe as well as to take back the issues raised to be included in future positive action,” said Willy Bach.

Everyone is welcome and no appointment is necessary.
