Under the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Act 2011 the PCC must produce a Police and Crime Plan which sets out the Commissioner's strategic police and crime objective for Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.

Victim First is a service which launched in October 2015. The service is a victim led service which provides services to victims in Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland. A new website launched May 2019 also includes a web-chat facility.
