Blaby service users got the chance to share their views with Police and Crime Commissioner Sir Clive Loader at an event on Tuesday June 18 at Blaby District Council offices in Narborough.

Sir Clive was a guest of Blaby Community Services Group Manager Quin Quinney at a meeting of people who make use of Blaby District Council’s support services.

At the event, Sir Clive and his Chief Executive, Paul Stock, heard from people about how these local services have changed their lives or helped them through difficult situations.

Sir Clive said: “Some important themes in the Police and Crime plan are around services which make communities and neighbourhoods safer, which protect the vulnerable and support victims and witnesses.

“It was good to visit Blaby and get a good understanding on which services people had found useful and where they felt the gaps were.

“It’s this kind of feedback that helps to shape our commissioning work where we’re determined not to commission services, but to commission outcomes.”
