The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (OPCC) has produced a video and a one-page infographic of Sir Clive Loader’s past year in office, ahead of its annual report being published next week.

The video includes some of the highlights of 2014/2015, such as the millions of pounds spent commissioning local projects and initiatives, the investment into Leicestershire Police’s body worn camera and the work to support victims and protect vulnerable people in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and the pioneering work of the Youth Commission.

A one-page infographic, containing key information and statistics from the annual report, has also been created.

The full annual report will be published next week following consideration of the changes recommended at today’s (16 July) Police and Crime Panel.

It details Sir Clive statutory functions as Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC), the progress made by police and partners against the Police and Crime Plan, commissioning work and information from the community safety partnerships.

The office has provided more money in grants and commissioning activity than any other OPCC in the country, bar one, in support of the outcomes set out in my Police and Crime Plan.

This includes the additional £2m of funding available to tackle some of the most insidious crimes that affect young people, including Child Sexual Exploitation and cyber-crime.
