Public invited to event to discuss community concerns

An event for members of the public to discuss any policing and community issues is taking place in Market Bosworth this month.

On Monday May 18, the Police and Crime Commissioner Sir Clive Loader, the Chief Constable of Leicestershire Police Simon Cole and Bill Cullen, Deputy Chief Executive for Community Direction at Hinckley and Bosworth Council, will be on hand to answer questions about issues of concern for local people.

The event, which is taking place at Bosworth Hall Hotel, is open for anyone from Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland to attend but particularly for residents of Hinckley, Market Bosworth and the surrounding villages.

It is part of the ‘What matters to you?’ public engagement events which give members of the public an opportunity to discuss issues with three key figures.

Held every couple of months, this is the fifth event of its kind. Previous ones have been held in the city centre, Beaumont Leys, Coalville and Market Harborough.

The meeting will run from 6.30pm until 8.00pm, with light refreshments and the opportunity to network from 6.00pm.
