The Community Asset Map, created in collaboration with Mapping for Change, has been shaped by insights made available from People Zones, the Community Action Programme and the Commissioner's Safety Fund work.
The Community Asset Map aims to provide residents across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland with a full overview of the services, social opportunities, diversionary work, clubs and community assets available in their local area.
This map will continue to expand, where it currently lists more than 900 services, groups, and activities throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland.
It can be altered by the community, where changes are approved by OPCC staff, meaning this map will continue to evolve, and will represent the changing landscape of our region. Despite the reach the OPCC has been able to capture, this service is still in its infancy, with much of LLR remaining unmapped.
Businesses, charities, activity groups, social clubs, community centres and more are encouraged to upload their own details, so that even more people across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland can access their services.
