Welcome to the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s (OPCC) Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Crime Prevention Toolkit. This resource is freely available to the people of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
The Violence Against Women and Girls Crime Prevention Toolkit is a structured set of interventions designed to both mitigate and protect members of the community.
These prevention methods have been sourced by the OPCC, in line with research on effective crime prevention and mitigation methods, and best practice solutions suggested by Leicestershire Police. You can apply for funding for the purchase of these solutions as either an individual, or for a community rollout.
Please note that solutions are categorised by their cost: Low, Medium, or High.
If you have any queries regarding the OPCC’s Violence Against Women and Girls Crime Prevention Toolkit, please contact us using our online contact form.
