The Police and Crime Commissioner has helped homeowners enhance their home security by recently securing Home Office and Safer Streets funding targeted at residential properties in Oadby & Wigston and Melton Mowbray.
This innovative scheme was available to selected streets and roads in which home owners could register for free home security upgrades. This included video doorbells, window locks, window alarms and lighting ensuring that homes are more protected against burglaries and also acting as a deterrent.
