The budget for policing Leicestershire in 2018-2019 has been set at £176.255m which includes a contribution of £5.058m from reserves.
This is an increase of £4.615mm (2.69%) from the 2017-2018 net budget requirement level of £171.639m. This has been wholly funded through the increase in the police precept through local Council Tax.
