Budget 2025-2026
The 2025-2026 approved revenue budget is £254.65m. Funding for policing comes from a combination of Central Government, Council Tax and grant income and for 2025-2026 the Government provides 56% of the budget figure with the balance of 44% coming from local taxpayers.
This means the amount of Council Tax a Band D property will pay towards policing will increase by 27p per week.
